Our approach
A safe club is built through clear expectations, appropriate conduct, good communication and adults who know how to respond when a concern is raised.
Students, parents and carers can raise a concern directly and in confidence.
We maintain safeguarding practices designed to protect children, young people and adults at risk.
BMABA CIC provides an independent safeguarding route if you would rather not contact the club directly.
Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts
The Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts helps parents and carers identify martial arts clubs suitable for children or adults in their care. Nishikan maintains safeguarding practices in line with the standards expected through the scheme.
Our safeguarding policies are available to students and parents through the Martialytics app and portal.

Independent safeguarding contact
Nishikan is a registered member of BMABA CIC. If you would prefer independent advice or support, you can contact BMABA safeguarding directly.
